Maintenance Porter

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Porter to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Maintenance Porter, you will be responsible for performing facility maintenance duties and interacting with customers in a professional manner.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will have relevant maintenance experience, including basic construction, electrical, plumbing, power tools, hand tools, painting, and landscaping. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a plus.

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed by the facility manager or supervisor.
• Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.
• Assist customers with their needs and resolve any complaints in a professional manner.
• Keep the facility clean and tidy, including sweeping and picking up trash.
• Maintain a garage/lot sweep sheet and keep track of inventory.
• Report any safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the facility manager.
• Practice excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude.
