EHS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Engineer to join our team at DAA Dräxlmaier Automotive of America LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising operational management on industrial/occupational/environmental safety and fire protection, as well as monitoring and implementing relevant measures to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical orientation and training to associates
- Coordinate and supervise fire brigades, as well as support activities related to major emergencies
- Represent the organization before government agencies, inspections, and audits
- Coordinate and conduct environmental/occupational/health assessments and participate in audits of environmental management systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Advise management on industrial safety-relevant topics
- Implement industrial safety and accident prevention measures
- Create occupational health reports
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience in EHS
- 2+ years of experience in EHS
- OSHA 30 hour certification
- CPR/AED First Aid Certification desired
- Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA
- Experience with workers compensation
- Advanced level of English language proficiency
- Knowledge of First Aid, Safety, and Accident Investigation and Risk
