We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Capital Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain complex cardiovascular equipment, including echocardiography machines and cardiac catheterization labs.
- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as angioplasty and stent placement.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for imaging.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide critical care as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate Degree in a related field, such as cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
