Job Details
The successful candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, including Neuro experience. Travelers may also be required to float to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
Common Diagnoses and Patient Types
Neuro post-surgical, post-cranial, spine, and CVA patients post-TPA.
Job Requirements
Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
There will also be a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation, with study guides provided with the first day instructions.
Schedule Information
Shifts: 12-hour shifts.

Unit: D4 Neuro
Number of beds: 28
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Ratios: 1:3-4
Additional Notes
No ICP monitoring.
COVID vaccine is required, or a religious or medical declination form with appropriate documentation.
Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of receiving offer, through RELIAS, with 2 max attempts.
There will be a Pass/Fail exam on Day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field.
Study materials will be provided with first day instructions, so please ensure travelers are up to date on proper sterile techniques.
Charge Nurse and Tech Information
Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Clinical Supervisor in a management role.
Techs: PCTs - 1 per every 16 patients.
Weekend Requirement
Every other weekend.
Scrub Color and Tele Information
Scrub Color: Navy
Tele: Centralized tele. RNs must be able to interpret EKGs.
Vents and Hospitalist Information

Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist rounds during the day and on call at night.
