The Licensed Practical Nurse Position

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team and provide basic therapeutic nursing care according to established standards of practice.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients and caregivers whose care requirements are routine and standardized with predictable outcomes.
  • The Licensed Practical Nurse will assist the RN and healthcare team to achieve desired patient outcomes by relying on education, training, and established guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and provide advanced professional nursing care in resident care areas to include collecting and analyzing resident data, developing and implementing nursing care plans.
  • Respond to emergency and specialized resident care situations, evaluate nursing care practices, and communicate to appropriate personnel relevant facts about residents, nursing services rendered, and resident responses.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse in a long-term or acute care setting with charge or supervisory experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited professional school with licensure in Licensed Practical Nursing. IV Certification.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, knowledge of computer systems: Microsoft Office modules.
