Job Title: Drafter

Selectek is seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team in Lithia Springs, GA. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating shop drawings and fabrication documents for our clients in the canopy and cover industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create shop drawings and fabrication documents using AutoCAD
  • Read and interpret construction documents and blueprints
  • Work closely with clients to ensure custom designs meet their needs
  • Collaborate with other engineers and detailers to ensure job completion
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience creating shop drawings or fabrication drawings for the aluminum extrusion industry
  • High level of AutoCAD proficiency
  • Ability to read construction documents and blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3D CAD knowledge (Inventor preferred)
Job Details:

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a pay range of $25-$30 per hour ($52,000-$63,000 annual salary). The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fabrication shop or as a fabrication detailer.

The work will involve creating shop drawings and fabrication documents for metal panels, canopies, curtain wall work, and other similar designs. The Drafter will work closely with clients to ensure custom designs meet their needs.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
