Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality surgical services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience in surgical services or a related field.
