Overview:
The Store Operations Leader is accountable for overseeing all store functions during the absence of senior management. This role is essential in embodying the company’s culture through the execution of its Mission and Values. A successful leader will consistently demonstrate exceptional customer service, effectively guide store associates, and manage overall store operations when salaried management is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote CNRG's Mission and Values in daily operations, ensuring all associates are informed about store expectations and updates.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure associates are trained to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Supervise and support team members as assigned, fostering a high-energy environment.
- Provide effective solutions to customer inquiries and maintain a positive shopping experience.
- Stay informed on current programs and company policies, communicating changes to the team.
- Coordinate merchandise orders in alignment with sales trends and customer needs.
- Conduct inventory counts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Exhibit leadership by adhering to CNRG's Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Train new associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stock areas.
- Create attractive merchandise displays to enhance sales and improve customer experience.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and complete tasks efficiently.
- Ensure the store and surrounding areas are clean and safe.
- Conduct price checks and implement pricing changes as needed.
- Obtain certification in all operational areas, including equipment handling and customer service skills.
- Complete all assigned tasks from supervisors in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
A successful Store Operations Leader must possess strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, be capable of working independently, and have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. They should understand the importance of customer service and be team-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation:
This position is hourly with eligibility for performance-based incentives. While there are no guarantees for career advancement, CNRG promotes from within and considers internal candidates for future opportunities.
