Job Summary

Stillwater Medical is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our Medical-Surgical Rehab team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services, including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a school of physical therapy.
  • Current license to practice in Oklahoma.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation procedures.
  • Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is required.
  • Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is preferred.
  • Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients.
Physical Requirements
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or > 100 lbs.) for most of the shift.
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.).
  • Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping.
  • Demonstrate adequate stamina to handle stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule.
