Job Summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a skilled and experienced Colorist to join our team. As a Colorist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair color services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to our brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consultations and Services: Provide personalized consultations to clients, recommending the best hair color services and products to meet their needs. Execute hair color services with precision and attention to detail, ensuring 100% client satisfaction.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong teamwork skills, working closely with colleagues to provide a seamless and exceptional client experience. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest hair color trends and techniques.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals by upselling and cross-selling hair color services and products. Drive revenue growth through additional services, sales of unlimited roots memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care products.
  • Client Satisfaction and Retention: Focus on delivering exceptional client satisfaction, ensuring repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals. Foster a friendly and welcoming work environment, promoting a culture of love, joy, trust, courage, and responsibility.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology License: Possess an active cosmetology license in the state where you are applying.
  • Experience and Skills: 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon environment. Effective communication, strong problem-solving, and people skills in a fast-paced retail or salon environment.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk for four plus consecutive hours; repetitive and regular bending and twisting at the waist; manipulating fingers and hands, bend and reach wrists and arms, reach with hands and arms or move up to ten pounds. May occasionally sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, and lift, push, pull up to ten pounds.
