We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Engagement Specialist to join our team at the Civics Education Project. As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in mobilizing and empowering voters in specific U.S. based states and territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with community members to provide them with accurate and relevant information about upcoming elections, candidates, and important ballot measures.
  • Encourage community members to participate in the electoral process and promote civic participation.
  • Work autonomously to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective community engagement strategies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to write and read.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical ability to walk and/or stand for 5-8 hours a day.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in political and/or electoral engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of field strategy, targeting, and metrics.
  • Knowledge and experience of Canvassing Software and Platforms.
What We Offer

$30 per hour (Role & Project Based, Varies)
