Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist PRN to join our team at Concentra. As a Physical Therapist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care services, including evaluation and treatment of muscle, skeletal, neurological, and other physical problems.
  • Support and encourage multidisciplinary coordination of treatment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Implement effective communication with colleagues, medical staff, and patients to ensure coordinated efforts and provision of high-quality service.
  • Plan, design, implement, and interpret specific physical therapy treatment programs for patients to facilitate recovery and attainment of maximum physical potential.
  • Educate patients on proper care and use of supports and performance of exercise programs.
  • Perform or delegate patient treatment, including modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and hydrotherapy.
  • Follow appropriate documentation and reporting procedures, securing prescriptions for each patient treated.
  • Work closely with physicians to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
  • Participate in professional development by attending center meetings and outside educational seminars.
  • Communicate with Outcome Assurance Injury Coordinator or Case Manager for each patient regarding objective progress, compliance with program, and estimated time frame until discharged from therapy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Masters' Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, preferred.
  • Customarily a new graduate to at least five years of demonstrated experience in an orthopedic setting with use of modalities, therapeutic exercises, and isokinetic equipment.
  • Ortho-outpatient experience, preferred.
