Board Certified Behavior Analyst Job Description

Company Overview: Magical Moments ABA is a fast-growing, client and therapist-focused company seeking a strong Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a certified and licensed BCBA to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Trainees in a fun and relaxed setting. As a BCBA, you will have the freedom to develop treatment plans using your own professional judgment and work closely with the owner and other therapists to help develop the transdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop, and maintain Individual Behavior Treatment Plans
  • Complete paperwork for ODE and insurance companies, and other duties within the scope of practice of a BCBA following the BACB Guidelines and Code of Ethics
  • Administer verbal behavior assessments, conduct language, play, and skill-based assessments (i.e. ABLLS), and implement, and/or train others using individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula
  • Provide assistance to children with special needs and their families to help them reach individual and family goals

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Behavior Analysis
  • Certification under the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) for Applied Behavior Analysis as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • Experience providing services to individuals with Autism
  • Clear background check

Attributes: We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized behavior analyst who will have the freedom to work semi-independently as the clinical supervisor for the ABA department. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment and have a strong clinical background in administering verbal behavior assessments, conducting language, play, and skill-based assessments, and implementing, and/or training others using individualized language, play, and skill-based curricula.
