Production Machine Technician

Job Overview

As a Production Machine Technician, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by overseeing the conversion of specialized films.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Managing the flow of materials to and from the machinery.
  • Loading and unloading films onto the machines efficiently.
  • Slitting materials to specified dimensions and executing splices as necessary.
  • Adhering to all ISO documentation protocols.
  • Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Recording pressure levels and operational ranges as required.
  • Processing work orders using ERP systems.
  • Retrieving necessary chemicals and materials for production.
  • Submitting requests in the Computer Maintenance Management System.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of all machine reports.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned or as needed.
Required Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in an industrial setting.
  • Prior experience in assembly or machine operation.
  • Familiarity with ISO documentation and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Computer Maintenance Management Systems.

Work Environment

This position is fully on-site and operates on a three-shift schedule:

  • 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • 3rd Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

The manufacturing floor is a clean, high-tech, and well-lit environment, providing ample space for operations. Employees have access to a gym and locker room facilities. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including steel or composite-toed shoes and safety glasses.
