This Full-time Outpatient and Inpatient opportunity offers a unique blend of clinical expertise and collaboration with an experienced team of healthcare professionals. As a Colorectal Surgery Physician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our board-certified physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform health assessments, including patient history and physical examination, in the hospital setting.
  • Conduct diagnostic procedures according to privileges and maintain accurate records.
  • Diagnose and treat a range of gastrointestinal conditions, including anal abscesses, fistulas, colon and rectal cancer, and lower GI bleeding.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, studies, and lab values to inform patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Nursing (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) Studies.
  • Current, valid Florida APRN license.
  • Current, valid DEA license.
  • Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or other nationally recognized certification organization.
  • BLS certification.
