Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Gecko New York. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant during your shift.

The successful candidate will have financial responsibility for labor cost, inventory, and cash procedures daily. You will also be responsible for coaching and following up with personnel to ensure a smoothly operating restaurant.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who is passionate about developing and mentoring others. You will support the General Manager in setting and achieving store goals and assisting with the hiring of quality staff members and their retention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellence in quality, service, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant during your shift
• Manage labor cost, inventory, and cash procedures daily
• Coach and follow up with personnel to ensure a smoothly operating restaurant
• Support the General Manager in setting and achieving store goals
• Assist with the hiring of quality staff members and their retention

Requirements:

• 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume atmosphere
• A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements
• Must be able to demonstrate honesty and integrity inside and outside of the workplace
• Must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
