Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatments to patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications as part of a patient's treatment plan.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Conduct therapy sessions and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Travel to different locations as required by contract assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree with a specialization in Psychiatry.
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry.
  • Valid state medical license(s) and the ability to obtain additional licensure as needed.
  • Proven experience in psychiatric care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and adapt to various work environments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with telepsychiatry and remote patient management.
  • Multilingual skills to accommodate diverse patient populations.
  • Prior experience in travel or locum tenens positions.
