We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Services team at Medical City Plano. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our emergency department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the management of emergency department staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, reduce lengths of stay, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with other hospital departments, including nursing, medical staff, and administrative teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Current Texas State RN license or compact license accepted.
- National Specialty Certification or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing management position.
