Key Responsibilities of the Level II Computed Radiographer:
  • Conduct Level II Computed Radiography inspections and other nondestructive evaluations in accordance with company protocols.
  • Operate and maintain Computed Radiography equipment, ensuring compliance with both company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Calibrate and establish testing apparatus and materials.
  • Manage and control radiation exposure areas effectively.
  • Apply testing standards in line with relevant specifications and assess outcomes.
  • Interpret and evaluate product results against construction codes or client specifications.
  • Document and communicate test findings accurately.
  • Ensure the production of high-quality radiographs.
  • Be prepared for travel as required.
  • Oversee and complete projects of varying durations.
  • Engage with customer representatives on a daily basis.
  • Deliver completed work in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols throughout project execution.
  • Train assistants effectively, adhering to relevant codes and NVI, LLC's SNT-TC-1A practices.
  • Meet deadlines established by management or clients.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while on assignments.
  • Fulfill any additional responsibilities associated with Level II duties as designated by the company.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Level II Computed Radiography certification.
  • Valid State Radiographers card or IRRSP card.
  • At least 80 hours of documented training in Radiography Level I and II.
  • A minimum of 40 hours of documented training in Computed Radiography.
  • 16 hours of documented training in CR Software/Hardware (preferably GE/Waygate or VMI).
  • Familiarity with relevant welding codes, such as ASME, API, AWS, etc.
  • Documented experience managing projects as a Level II Computed Radiographer.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle History evaluations.
  • Ability to pass an FBI background check in line with the company's increased controls program.
  • Pass the company's Drug/Alcohol, Fit for Duty, and Ergonomic Testing policies.
  • Successfully complete the company's Level II Computed Radiography certification process.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
  • ANST/ACCP Level II certifications in MT, PT, UTT, or equivalent field experience and education meeting SNT-TC-1A certification requirements.
  • Ability to pass the company's Level II MT, PT, and UTT certification process.
