ESL Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Adjunct Intensive English Program Instructor to join our team at Computer Systems Institute Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.

This is an adjunct faculty position that will require teaching courses within the ESL Programs, including Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. The instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering ESL curriculum, utilizing a learning management system and collaborative learning approaches.

• Teach ESL courses to students with varying proficiency levels
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with administrative tasks and class assignments
• Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate project-based learning experiences
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records
• Attend quarterly instructor meetings and engage in professional development activities

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor or Master degree in ESL/EFL, or a related field. Additionally, you should possess native or near-native ability to speak English and have two years of prior teaching experience.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of language teaching methodology, second language acquisition, and intercultural communication. Practicum experience is also highly valued.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include earned sick time.
