Position Title: Medication Technician
Department: Personal Care
Employment Status: Part-Time with flexible scheduling options
Compensation: $16 - $18/hr (based on experience) PLUS Shift Differentials: $2 for Evenings, $1.50 for Nights, and an additional $1 for Weekends

Responsibilities of the Medication Technician:
- Encourage residents to participate in activities and social events.
- Assist in the execution of activity programs as required.
- Provide personal care support to residents, which may include assistance with bathing, continence care, oral hygiene, grooming, dressing, and other personal tasks.
- Help new residents with orientation and settling in, including unpacking and familiarizing them with the facility.
- Respond promptly to resident call bells.
- Assist during meal times in accordance with departmental policies.
- Take and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and blood glucose levels.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure residents' comfort and safety.
Qualifications for the Medication Technician:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in healthcare or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain post-hire).
- Diabetic Training (or willingness to obtain post-hire).
- Commitment to providing compassionate personal care aligned with our mission and values.
