As a key member of our Petroleum and Petrochemical Services team, you will play a critical role in coordinating and overseeing regional Health and Safety programs, field Health and Safety compliance activities, and supporting the corporate Health and Safety team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide planning, coordination, and field oversight of regional Health and Safety training and mentoring of personnel performing safety-sensitive field tasks for the oil and gas and industrial sector.
  • Verify and validate compliance with client and Trihydro Health and Safety expectations.
  • Develop and implement programs and Health and Safety documents that focus on opportunities for growth and continuous improvement in the realm of safe operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of relevant construction and Health and Safety-related work experience.
  • Local, State, and Federal Health, Environment and Safety regulatory compliance experience.
  • Demonstrated experience and successes working with diverse project teams on safe work planning, risk/hazard recognition and mitigation.
  • Experience managing workplace safety from the perspective of human organizational performance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to fulfill commitments on schedule and to do what it takes to meet client service expectations and requirements.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on client service and cultivating long-standing relationships.
  • Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card.
  • Clean driving record and an ability to travel to client locations and other Trihydro offices.
