Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems
- Complete make readies, turns, and work orders
- Conduct electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
- Repair appliances and provide excellent customer service
- Be on call one week at a time on a rotation basis
- At least one year of experience in HVAC and appliance repair
- General maintenance knowledge and skills
- Depending on location, may be required to have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Able to work well with minimal supervision and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must have own tools
