Sleep Center Electroencephalography Technician

The Sleep Disorders Center at UNM Hospital is seeking a skilled Sleep Center Electroencephalography Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying electrodes and various monitors to patients, measuring wake, sleep, and breathing states, and recording brainwave signals from scalp electrodes.
As a Sleep Center Electroencephalography Technician, you will work closely with medical directors to interpret data, assist in training non-registered PSG Technologists, and ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and integrating patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs.
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $56,800 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. If you have a high school diploma or equivalent and are certified as a Registered Polysomnographic Specialist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), we encourage you to apply.
