Position Overview
As the Electrical & Automation Engineering Manager, you will oversee all facets related to electrical systems, automation, process control, and manufacturing execution systems (MES). Your role will be pivotal in aligning our operations with Nestlé's corporate strategies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise the strategic planning and execution of electrical supply, distribution, and automation processes as outlined in our Engineering Excellence framework.
2. Implement effective work processes and procedures to support the E&A team, ensuring appropriate project management and capital expenditure budgeting.
3. Identify and execute critical solutions in risk management, maintenance, and enhancements related to electrical and automation systems.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant Nestlé and governmental regulations, maintaining a focus on safety and operational integrity.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide essential support and expertise, driving continuous improvement in electrical and automation practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical and automation roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, automation technologies, and local electrical codes.
- Proficiency in automation systems, including HMIs and PLCs.
Skills
- Ability to read and write PLC programs using Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies.
- Understanding of financial business drivers, including internal rate of return and net present value.
