STV is seeking a highly experienced Principal Water Resources Engineer to lead our stormwater management efforts in the Carolinas. With a focus on hydraulic design, this role will play a critical part in shaping the future of infrastructure development in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Check Storm Water Management Reports and plans for roadway, transit, rail, and culvert/bridge projects
  • Perform quality control for hydrologic & hydraulic studies, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
  • Coordinate permitting through various water management agencies
  • Participate in project development meetings with clients
  • Mentor technical staff
  • Establish working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managers

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Biological, Agricultural, or related discipline)
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in Water Resources and Storm Water Design Engineering - design of storm drains, culverts, storm water management, BMPs, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and Floodplain studies, and cost estimating
  • NC PE license required

The estimated salary range for this position is $136,843.00 - $182,457.00 per year.
