The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is actively seeking full-time, board-certified or eligible family medicine specialists to enhance our Department of Family and Community Medicine. The academic rank and track will be determined based on the candidate's academic achievements and professional experience.
Department Insights
Our department comprises a diverse group of 83 faculty members, 6 fellows, and 27 residents, and continues to expand each year. We specialize in various areas including sports medicine, occupational medicine, integrative medicine, behavioral health, and health services research, alongside our core family medicine practice. We also manage two residency program sites, providing comprehensive inpatient services and prenatal care, including maternity and geriatrics services.
Educational Commitment
Our faculty plays a vital role in the education of medical students through practicum lectures and clinical rotations. We are part of the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus initiative through the Center for Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring our practices are equipped with a multidisciplinary team including dieticians, behavioral health specialists, social workers, pharmacists, medical assistants, and nurses.
