Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman/Senior Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service shop, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership to our technicians, ensuring the timely completion of repairs, and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor shop technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate the receipt and flow of incoming work, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately documented and communicated to the team.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to diagnose and repair mechanical issues, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the service manager and sales representatives to ensure seamless communication and coordination of work.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including labor hours, parts used, and customer feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our service offerings and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair, with a strong background in mechanical repair and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of technicians.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required; CDL may be required for certain positions.
