Job Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on poured concrete surfaces, adhering to strict quality and texture standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation
    • Pour, spread, and level concrete to meet precise tolerances and finish specifications.
    • Operate various machinery and equipment, including cement edging, troweling, and finishing equipment.
  • Concrete Finishing
    • Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge.
    • Patch horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces.
  • Formwork and Assembly
    • Construct and assemble concrete forms and wooden frame structures for various concrete formations.
  • Support Functions
    • Assist with subgrade work, mixing of concrete or other aggregate mixtures.
    • Break up and repair old concrete surfaces.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to wear a full body harness and work at heights while tied off.
    • Ability to work in constant exposure to outside elements, in all weather conditions.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Requirements
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience.
    • Appropriate training and experience required.
