Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Doshi&Associates,Inc. in Cypress, CA. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping and payroll services for clients
  • Enter data from source documents to prepare financial statements
  • Process payroll for clients, including payment of taxes and quarterly payroll tax return filing
  • Reconcile general ledger and bank statements
  • Conduct research and analysis to accurately record transactions and prepare financial statements
  • Prepare documentation and materials for income tax returns
  • Manage client projects to deliver timely and accurate finished products

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply strategically
  • Proficiency with data entry and bookkeeping software
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an accounting firm
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks and Accountant's Office
  • College degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
