We are seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team for a project duration of 6 months. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, including transactions related to purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in bookkeeping and financial reporting, along with a comprehensive understanding of financial accounting and analysis.

Proficiency in QuickBooks, general ledger management, financial statements, and budgeting is essential for success in this position.

With over 3 years of relevant experience and a passion for financial accuracy, you will play a vital role in ensuring our financial stability and achieving our fiscal objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records and documentation
  • Analyze budgets and generate expense reports
  • Review tax regulations and manage tax payments and filings
  • Conduct ongoing financial analysis
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
  • Compile quarterly and annual financial reports
  • Oversee the complete cycle of accounting activities for the organization
  • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure alignment of financial management with strategic planning
  • Regularly review financial data to ensure precision
  • Utilize QuickBooks for managing and processing invoices and payments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Strong grasp of financial and accounting principles
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and present complex financial data
  • Professional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and managing budgets
  • Familiarity with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process.
