The Nurse Manager Mother Baby position is a leadership role that oversees the care delivery of the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum population, as well as the well newborn population.
As a Nursing Leadership Professional, you will be responsible for managing a service line/area to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and standards of care that promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing and be currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland. Additionally, they must meet all unit-specific certification requirements, including BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM. Professional Certification is preferred.
A strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is essential for this role. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly is also critical.
