Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Guadalupe Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Seguin, TX.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Therapist to conduct assessments and develop individualized therapeutic programs for patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology and be licensed by the state of Texas to practice as a Speech-Language-Pathologist.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  2. Develop and implement individualized therapeutic programs to improve or restore communicative and swallowing abilities.
  3. Collaborate with the Rehab Director and other healthcare professionals to ensure integration of the therapeutic program in the plan of care.
  4. Provide patient education and training on techniques and exercises to improve communication and swallowing skills.
  5. Document patient progress and report any changes in the patient's condition or treatment.
  6. Participate in patient case conferences to coordinate the patient's plan of care and promote positive therapeutic outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Master's Degree in Speech Pathology from a University program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing-Association.
  2. Current licensure by the state of Texas to practice as a Speech-Language-Pathologist.
  3. One year of experience in Speech Language Pathology in a home health setting preferred.
