Job Summary

The PE Production Control Specialist will play a pivotal role in establishing MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain LLC. This position is responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing process is efficient, cost-effective, and delivers high-quality products on time, while also coordinating with other departments and managing resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the initial point of contact for customer production plans and monitor changes and irregular orders.
  • Inform related departments about changes to the production plan, including schedule, UPH, shift plan, volume, working hours, and CKD/Pilot car orders.
  • Adjust production plans with the customer as needed, in case of logistics, production, or quality trouble.
  • Maintain the EDI process with the customer and conduct contingency plans when trouble with Broadcast occurs.
  • Maintain the Work Order Process and production information in MES, including line assembly code, Broadcast data, fool-proof barcode key data, and working time pattern.
  • Maintain JIS Lead time information, including docking station and delivery lead time.
  • Collect and maintain production index in MES, ERP, or manually, including actual vs. planned, working time, hour per unit, downtime, OEM line stop, production CUM, inefficient expense, scrap cost, line assignment efficiency, and overtime.
  • Prepare monthly/weekly production reports, including production index analysis and improvement.
  • Ensure the accuracy of production index system data, including system vs. actual.
  • Make an irregular plant comprehensive report.
  • Maintain plant information and index.
  • Respond to Korea headquarters requirements.
  • Support/perform special projects as necessary.
  • Manage BOM/EO control, including customer engineering change, SAP material master management, and production BOM in SAP/MES.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-specific experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Just in Sequence production control field in the Automotive industry, including production planning, BOM, and engineering order change control.
  • Working experience with Hyundai/Kia/Mobis.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experienced in automotive assembly/manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Detailed knowledge of Just in Sequence processes and systems in the Automotive industry.
  • SAP (PP/MM/SD module) and MES experience.
  • Analytic skills in engineering drawing.
  • Korean language skills to communicate with Korean Headquarter.
  • Experienced in plant setup.
  • Comprehensive problem-solving skills across the plant.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
