Position Overview:
This esteemed medical facility is actively seeking a skilled and board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in cardiovascular surgery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH) and will work closely with a team of seasoned cardiothoracic surgeons.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in performing routine cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of postoperative care and follow-up clinic visits.
- Familiarity with minimally invasive surgical techniques is advantageous.
- Mandatory experience in EVH and assisting in surgical procedures.
- The APP will conduct daily patient rounds pre and post-surgery and manage follow-up evaluations in the outpatient setting.
- Expected on-call schedule is 1:4.
