Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating instrumentation systems for flight test and other applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop instrumentation systems, including data acquisition and signal conditioning hardware and software.
  • Integrate instrumentation systems with aircraft and ground support equipment.
  • Test and validate instrumentation systems to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure instrumentation systems meet program requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for instrumentation systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • At least five years of related, professional experience.
  • Ability to develop, test, and troubleshoot data acquisition systems and other instrumentation devices.
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and process specifications.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting techniques and tools, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other common laboratory equipment.
Desired Skills
  • Master's degree from an accredited college in Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidate must work well individually and with team members across multiple organizations.
  • Aircraft systems operations experience.
  • Previous experience with Curtiss-Wright, Safran, or similar instrumentation hardware and flight test instrumentation operations.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance, and the candidate must be a US Citizen for consideration.
