Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team at KIPP Massachusetts Public Charter Schools. As a key member of our Student Supports team, you will play a critical role in providing behavioral analysis and intervention support for our students in grades K-12.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our school-based staff, including mental health practitioners, student support teams, and teachers, to execute a tiered approach to behavior support at the school level. This will involve conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and providing training and support to staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct FBAs and develop BIPs to address challenging behaviors in students
  • Provide training and support to staff members on behavior management techniques and BIP implementation
  • Collaborate with school-based teams to develop and implement behavior support plans
  • Collect and analyze data to inform behavior support strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, staff, and families to ensure effective behavior support
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
  • 2-3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families using behavior analytic technology
  • Knowledge of brief functional analysis techniques and BIP development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
