Empower ABA Registered Behavior Technician Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to collaborate with our team in providing support and guidance to individuals with behavioral health needs. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT will implement individualized treatment plans, promoting positive behavioral changes through evidence-based practices.


Compensation Package

The successful candidate can expect a salary of $25-$30 per hour, reflecting the value of their expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional care.


Job Responsibilities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the supervising BCBA, ensuring effective implementation of client-specific goals.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors during sessions, facilitating informed decision-making and adaptive care strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments, promoting independence and social interaction skills.
  • Assist in the development of essential skills for daily living, such as communication, self-care, and social interactions, empowering clients to lead fulfilling lives.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes as required, ensuring seamless collaboration among healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and family members, to foster a cohesive approach to care and optimize client outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, enhancing skills in applied behavior analysis and staying abreast of best practices in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with autism, demonstrating empathy and understanding of diverse needs.
  • Familiarity with behavioral health practices, interventions, and research, ensuring alignment with evidence-based standards.
  • Knowledge of gender issues counseling techniques, medical documentation standards, psychotherapy practices, and clinical research related to behavioral health.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members, promoting seamless care delivery.
