Shipfitter Specialist

X-Ray Shipfitter Role

At General Dynamics Electric Boat, we are seeking a skilled X-Ray Shipfitter to join our team at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret construction drawings and blueprints
Possess a good working knowledge of steel fabrication
Develop a working knowledge of structural weld joint fit-up/weld symbols, burning and grinding operations

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
Shipfitting, metal fabrication and/or relevant experience
Ability to work at heights, confined spaces and extreme temperature conditions as required
