Introduction

Sentara Cardiology Specialists seeks a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in General Cardiology.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Conducting H&P's, rounding, and discharging patients
  • Seeing up to 15 patients per day

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • A Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Authorization to Prescribe License - Certification - North Carolina, Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Other/National
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Certification - Other/National, Nursing License - North Carolina, Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
  • Physician Assistant License (PA) - State License - North Carolina Medical Board (NC), Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Other/National
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Single State - Nursing License - North Carolina, Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP), Compact/Multi-State License
