Responsibilities

Job Summary:
Assists in delivering high-quality patient care under the guidance of the physician(s).

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and review patient charts prior to appointments.
2. Ensure smooth patient flow within the clinic.
3. Evaluate patients, gather necessary information, and conduct tests to ready patients for provider consultations.
4. Set up patients and treatment areas for wound care and minor procedures.
5. Relay test results and documentation to the provider for assessment; implement orders as directed. Inform patients of test outcomes and ensure proper follow-up according to established protocols.
6. Respond promptly to all patient care inquiries.
7. Assist in scheduling surgical cases and coordinating equipment and representatives.
8. Facilitate the completion of physician orders for Home Health Care and Wound Care services.
9. Provide education to patients and their families/caregivers.

Qualifications

Education:
Completion of an accredited RN program.

License/Certification:
Current RN license in Tennessee
BLS Certification
ACLS certification to be obtained within 90 days

Qualifications:
Minimum of one year experience in a clinical nursing environment.
Experience in cardiology is advantageous.

Pay Range

$38.26 per hour
