Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Westside Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ultrasound examinations for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations for diagnosis, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Provide patient care, comfort, and completion of required procedures.
  • Assess, treat, or care for patients of various ages, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs, possess knowledge of growth and development, and understand the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Current Certification as Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
  • Current BLS issued by American Heart Association.
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound School.
  • Successful completion of an ARDMS-approved training program.
