Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our veterinarians with medical procedures, laboratory tests, and patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including exams, surgeries, and anesthesia.
  • Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging, including radiography and ultrasound.
  • Administer medications and vaccines to patients.
  • Provide compassionate patient care, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Communicate with clients to provide information and answer questions about their pets' care.
  • Participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a veterinary technician or veterinary technologist (CVT or RVT) required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary technologist.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move patients and equipment.
