Enterprise Architect II

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect II to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for driving strategic alignment across the organization, collaborating with business leadership and technical stakeholders to establish portfolio, value stream strategies, and customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business leadership, experts, and SMEs to establish portfolio, value stream strategies, and customer journeys
  • Drive specification and standardization of platforms, technologies, design approaches, methodologies, and tooling across lines of business/value streams/customer journeys
  • Implement technology initiatives across lines of business/value streams/customer journeys
  • Understand and communicate strategy and key business drivers for architecture to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Lean Portfolio Management/COMPASS Portfolio Management to provide a high-level vision and assist with financial assessments of enterprise initiatives
  • Reuse and Cost Optimization: Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns; influence common modeling, design, and coding practices
  • Cross Tower Architectural Leadership: Establish technical vision, end-to-end solution (E2E) designs, and drive architectural initiatives
  • Work closely with solution architects, application architects, and system engineers to ensure individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives
  • Synchronize system, data security, resiliency, scalability, performance, and other non-functional requirements (NFRs) across solutions, value streams, and customer journeys

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading the design of system, logical, physical architecture, and roadmaps in collaboration with business partners and app teams
  • 5-10 years of applied experience in domain roadmap architecture, including one or more of the following domains/subdomains: Shop & Purchase, Onboarding & Activate, Service & Support, Close & Separate, Billing
  • 2-3 years of applied experience with 3rd-party PaaS/SaaS platforms, including SalesForce, MuleSoft, Google CCAI, and/or ServiceNOW
  • 2-3 years of applied experience with Business Support Systems evolution (BSSe) - Amdocs Catalog, Ordering, Billing Platforms
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science, EE, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience related to technical architecture and product design
  • Strong software development, software architect, and technical lead experience delivering large-scale software products over a significant number of releases
  • Strong technical background as a software platform architect and engineer
  • Designed solutions that meet availability needs based on application functional and non-functional requirements
  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe Agile practices, release trains/program increments, and strong aptitude to work in a DevOps culture and environment
  • Full-stack development experience building application software, test automation, and infrastructure as code, relational and NOSQL database technologies
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • 5-10 years of relevant work experience working with SOAP and REST APIs/microservices design
  • Applied experience with container-based platforms, including Kubernetes, Docker, Container Instances, HELM charts, and related technologies
  • Familiarity with OWASP and integrations with static code analysis tools, such as Veracode, Sonar, Blackduck, and dynamic code analysis tools
