Job Overview:

As an Information Technology Specialist with the U.S. Army, you will play a critical role in maintaining, processing, and troubleshooting military computer systems and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair computer systems, networks, and hardware

Provide customer and network administration services
\u2022

Construct, edit, and test computer programs

Training:

Job training for this position requires 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 20 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction.

Using computer consoles and peripheral equipment

Computer systems concepts

\u2022

Planning, designing, and testing computer systems

Requirements:

Must enlist in the United States Army
\u2022

Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
\u2022

Must have a GED or High School Diploma
\u2022

Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Cardholder
\u2022

Must meet Army Height and weight standards
