Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist for a 13-week travel contract position.
Shift: This role requires working nights, 6:30pm-7am, with 12 hour shifts, from Friday to Sunday. The total number of working hours per week will be 48.
Requirements:
- A valid Operating Room License is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a large hospital setting is necessary; preference will be given to candidates with level 1 experience, but those with level 2 experience will also be considered.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
- ARRT and ODH certifications are also required.
- Candidates must have an Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
- Experience with GE equipment is essential.
- Travel experience is preferred, particularly in Trauma Level I & II environments.
Other Details:
- The local radius for this position is 50 miles.
- The COVID-19 vaccine is not required, but the flu vaccine is mandatory with medical or religious exemptions allowed.
This position involves performing diagnostic radiographic procedures using proper techniques and administering contrast media independently. The successful candidate will work under their scope of practice and in accordance with their certificate/licensure, administering medications, operating equipment, and performing venipuncture. They will also coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department.
Salary Information:
The estimated weekly gross pay for this position is $3176, based on qualifications and experience. Please note that this rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
