Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician/ MLS/ CLS to support our client's medical facility in Portland, OR. This is a full-time contract opportunity with possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent employment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure proper functionality and accurate results.
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls to ensure consistency and accuracy in test results.
  • Report accurate and timely test results to facilitate quality patient care.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Associates of Science in Medical Technology OR Bachelor's degree in biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $32 - $44 per hour, based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
