Roles & Responsibilities:
The Glazier / Installer role is essential for product fulfillment within the organization.

Glaziers / Installers are responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience during the final installation phase.


Conduct thorough inspections of job materials to confirm that the product(s) are the correct specifications and free from visible damage or defects necessary for the job(s).

Load all required materials onto the installation vehicle(s), including backup supplies, tools, job documentation, safety gear, etc.

Notify both the office and the customer if there are delays in the scheduled installation appointment.


Upon arriving at the customer's residence, confirm the scope of work, the product(s) to be installed, installation locations, estimated completion time, and customer expectations, managing those expectations appropriately.


Carry out the installation of all products and services outlined in the work order, troubleshoot any issues that arise on-site, and strive to resolve them effectively.


If it is not feasible to safely deliver a quality service or installation on the promised date, accurately document all issues and the materials needed to complete the installation to the customer's satisfaction at a later time.


Communicate with relevant team members regarding any incomplete work, ensuring that new materials are ordered, the reasons for any follow-up work are understood, and that customer expectations are managed accordingly.

Maintain the cleanliness of the customer's home or business, ensuring it is left in better condition than when you arrived; utilize protective gear as necessary.


Conclude the installation by guiding the customer through the care and maintenance of the products, explaining warranty details (if applicable), and providing information on how to reach us for future service or inquiries.


Qualifications & Educational Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential glass installation

High School Diploma or equivalent

All candidates must successfully pass an initial background check and drug screening. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.


Candidates must be physically capable of performing the job, in good health, and able to lift 50-100 lbs without assistance.


Preferred Skills:
Experience in residential glass replacement, including single/double pane windows, shower enclosures, skylights, etc.

Experience in residential window/door installation for both new construction and retrofitting.

Knowledge of window/door maintenance, weatherization, and repair.

Strong troubleshooting abilities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is preferred.

Hardworking, self-motivated, with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

The Glass Guru operates as a franchise system. Each location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
