Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement care.
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, adhering to Mercy's mission and values.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current LPN license in the state of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
  • One or more of the following certifications: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., Six Assessment & Care Modules, C-EFM.
