Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the public safety sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the account base.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including large project initiatives that align with Motorola Solutions' strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive sales plans for major state agencies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance on technology platform decisions and developing preference and loyalty for Motorola Solutions.
  • Manage channel partners and engage in Motorola sponsorships and technology boards to build strategic relationships and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of sales and/or public safety experience, or 4+ years of sales and/or public safety experience.
  • Previous public safety experience and outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations are highly preferred.
  • Strong relationship development and management skills, with the ability to quickly learn new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate their value to customers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with C-Level executives.
